Does Mono-Ti use plastic?

Our goal is to minimize unnecessary plastics wherever possible.

Mono-Ti products are built primarily with titanium and food-grade silicone because we believe these materials provide outstanding durability and everyday performance.

Why can titanium change color over time?

Titanium naturally forms a protective oxide layer on its surface. Exposure to strong cleaning chemicals, high heat, or some dishwasher detergents may cause slight changes to its natural appearance.

This is a normal characteristic of titanium and does not affect its strength, performance, or safety.

Why does the titanium look different when it's wet?

This is completely normal.

When wet, titanium may appear slightly darker or change in tone as light reflects differently off the surface. Once dry, it returns to its normal appearance.

Is my Mono-Ti dishwasher safe?

We recommend hand washing whenever possible.

Some dishwasher detergents contain strong cleaning chemicals that may gradually change the natural appearance of titanium. Hand washing helps keep your bottle looking its best.

Will every bottle look exactly the same?

Not exactly.

Titanium is a natural material, and many parts of our manufacturing process are finished by hand. As a result, slight variations in finish and appearance from one batch to another are normal.

These subtle differences are part of what makes each Mono-Ti product unique.

Why doesn't Mono-Ti coat or paint the titanium?

We believe great materials should speak for themselves.

Rather than covering titanium with unnecessary coatings, we let its natural beauty and performance shine through. The subtle changes that develop over time are part of the character of the material.
